Founder and Lead, WWF Landscape Finance Lab
Paul Chatterton is Founder and Lead of the WWF Landscape Finance Lab. The Lab was established in 2016 to incubate sustainable landscape solutions in the world's most biodiverse locations and secure blended finance for their long term operations.
During an extensive career with WWF, Paul has catalysed results including the first provincial scale forest and climate (REDD+) programs on two continents, Europe's longest river protected area and the largest rainforest reserve in the Pacific.
Paul is co-author of the Little Sustainable Landscape Book and co-initiator of Landmapp, a mobile app to provide affordable land tenure to rural communities. Paul holds a Masters Degree with merit in Anthropology / Development Studies from Sydney University in Australia and a Diploma in Management from IMD in Switzerland.
He is an advisor to the Climate Bonds Initiative in land use and adaptation standards, a member of the Gold Standard land use group, part of the Transformation Leaders Network of the World Economic Forum and a member of the business advisory group on ecosystem services of the Forest Stewardship Council.
