Andrea Hagmann
Member of the Executive Board , Development Bank of Austria

CMs. Andrea Hagmann is Member of the Executive Board of the Development Bank of Austria (OeEB). Previously, she served in various positions at Oesterreichische Kontrollbank, the Austrian export credit agency. Ms. Hagmann graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration in 1991.

Since 2007, Ms. Hagmann has been intensely involved in the establishment of the Development Bank of Austria. OeEB entered the market in March 2008 and since then has supported a wide variety of projects in developing and transition countries – with particular emphasis on renewable energy and resource efficiency investments as well as on projects supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

Ms. Hagmann is actively involved in raising awareness for the importance of private sector development in developing countries within the Austrian Development Cooperation and in Austria more generally. Since 2009, she has been Member of the Board of Directors of the Global Microfinance Enhancement Facility (MEF).
