Vice President, Austrian Federal Ecnomic Chamber
Ulrike Rabmer-Koller is owner and General Manager of Rabmer Group based in Altenberg/Linz active in construction and environmental technology. Since 2015 she is Vice-President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, and since 2016 President of the European SME and Craft Association UEAPME, which represents around 12 million entrepreneurs. In this role, she also participates in the regular EU Social Partner Summits with the head of the EU Commission and the EU Council. Previously, she served as vice president of the association from 2011 to 2015.
In 1990 Ulrike Rabmer-Koller graduated in Business Administration at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. She gathered 2 years of international professional experience before she entered the family business in 1992. Since 2002 she is General Manager and sine 2011 she is the sole owner. She continued to expand the company, particularly in the field of environmental technology with the focus on excavation-free pipe rehabilitation, water and wastewater technology and renewable energies, and was largely responsible for the internationalization of the group.
In 1997 she started her political engagement at the Local Council of Altenberg/Linz. From 2002 – 2003 Ulrike Rabmer-Koller was Deputy Chairperson of the Junge Wirtschaft (Young Entrepreneurs) in Upper-Austria. She was Vice-President of the Upper Austrian Economic Chamber from 2003 – 2015 and President of “Women in Business – Upper Austria” from 2015 – 2016. Furthermore she was Deputy Chairperson of the National Body for Skilled Crafts & Trades from 2011 – 2015. From 2015 - 2017 she was the chairwoman of the board of the main association of Austrian social security funds. From 2013 - 2014 Ulrike Rabmer-Koller was a member of the EU Commission's High Level Group on "Key Enabling Technologies, since February 2018 she is Member of the High Level Group „Industry 2030“ of the European Commission.
