Schöberl & Pöll
Klemens Schlögl is project manager for highly energy-efficient buildings at Schöberl & Pöll which is one of the largest building physics offices in Austria. Schlögl was part of the team developing the world’s first Plus-Energy office high-rise-building in Vienna which was the first building globally that achieved the certificate “EnerPHit Premium”. The building of the Technical University Vienna at Getreidemarkt has been the first Plus-Energy office building worldwide with the biggest area of building-integrated photovoltaics in Austria. It is awarded with several prizes, e.g. State Prize for Environmental and Energy Technology in 2015.
Klemens Schlögl studied physical energy and measurement technology at the Technical University of Vienna and is member of the International Passive House Association’s Technical Panel, which develops innovative concepts for highly energy-efficient buildings. Among other projects he leads a research project focusing on increasing the share of renewables in the electricity mix via storage systems, e-mobility and sectoral coupling measures. Internationally he is involved in monitoring energy consumption and comfort parameters of China’s first certified Passive House residential and office building.
