Klaus von Moltke

Klaus von Moltke, born in Venezuela, is Managing Director of the BMW Group plant in Steyr/Austria, as well as Head of Drive Machines for the BMW Group worldwide. After graduating in engineering and gaining work experience during his studies in Caracas, Klaus von Moltke emigrated to Germany, where he began his career in the BMW Group as an assembly process planner. In the years that followed, he repeatedly took on international projects and lived in South Africa for four years, where he was in charge of process planning at the BMW Group vehicle plant in Rosslyn. After 20 years in various management positions, Klaus von Moltke took over as CEO of BMW Group’s largest drive plant in Steyr in 2022. Klaus von Moltke is a passionate cross-fit athlete, married and father of two sons.
