CEO and Co-Founder
Seabin
Pete Ceglinski has been described as a futurist for his entrepreneurship and leadership in environmental technology, innovation and systems design. Pete’s accolades and work include being ranked in the top 5 of 100 Australian entrepreneurs, being featured in Time Magazine, and being recognised by GQ as Person of the Year for sustainability, presenting technology and innovation at the United Nations, plus many more awards and recognitions over the years. Pete’s first career was as an Industrial Designer, specialising in plastic injection-moulded products (the irony). His second career was as a high-performance boat builder, working at the highest level for Americas Cup yacht racing teams. This career of working and living around the globe spanned 12 years before starting Seabin in 2016. Residing in his hometown of Byron Shire, Northern NSW, Australia, Pete is a devoted father to Koa and Ziggy. His life is fuelled by his professional achievements and personal development, with a strong commitment to ethical business practices and innovation. Surfing, family, outdoors, camping, photography, videography and being in nature keeps Pete sane.
